Who we are

SketchEdge is a property scanning and documentation app made by Estimate Experts USA LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in credentials.

Your project content: 3D scans, floor plans, photos, documents, project names and details, and the text transcripts created when you use the AI scope feature (your voice notes are converted to text by a speech-to-text service; we receive and store only the resulting transcript, not the audio recording).

Purchases: your subscription status, and any professional estimates you buy on our website. In-app subscriptions are handled by the app store you subscribed through (for example, the Apple App Store); website estimate purchases are processed by Square on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your card number.

Basic device and diagnostic information, used to keep the app working and fix problems.

How we use it

To run SketchEdge: store and sync your projects, generate floor plans and reports, and show your work across your devices.

To prepare estimates when you ask for one. When you request an estimate, our professional estimating team reviews the project content you submitted.

To draft scope documents: transcripts from the AI scope feature are processed by an AI service provider to produce a written draft. Drafts are always yours to review and edit.

To answer support requests and keep the service secure.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not show third-party ads in the app.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run our infrastructure: cloud hosting and storage (Amazon Web Services, in the United States), app stores and our subscription-management provider (RevenueCat), sign-in and address-autocomplete services (Google, Apple), payment processing (Square, for website estimate purchases), email delivery, and AI providers used for the scope feature.

Our estimating team, only when you request an estimate.

Authorities, only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and project content while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your account and project content from our active systems. Some limited records (like purchase history) may be kept where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can view and edit your projects in the app at any time.

You can close your account in the app (Settings → Edit Profile → Close Account) or from our account deletion page.

You can contact us about your data from the support page.

Children

SketchEdge is a professional tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. No online service can promise perfect security, but protecting your data is something we work on continuously.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
